This is a custom work finished in time for Mother’s Day. The subject matter is a silhouette of the current owner’s statue of Mary (the blessed mother) in her garden, with a view of her backyard….as her favorite bird (a red cardinal) flies by.

I’m getting ready for the Earth Day festival at the Fairhope Pier in Fairhope, AL. “Its a celebration of the earth for the people living around our incredibly diverse,beautiful,fun,ecologically rich and nevertheless fragile bay area.”
