West Coast Book Launch

Hi Friends,

I just got word that Bel Canto at Kubo LB will host the west coast launch party for my upcoming picture book, Santiago and Great Bear, A Friendship Written in the Stars.

I’ve been to many events at Bel Canto Books, at both the retro row location and Kubo LB. Jhoanna Belfur (poet, founder and awesome human being) has graciously added me to her calendar of events in July. I feel so honored to be a part of this amazing community. Thank you Jhoanna. I’m really looking forward to this!

KUBO LB is a Filipino owned creative community retail and event space located in the neighborhood of Bixby Knolls, Long Beach, in the heart of the Atlantic Ave Business Corridor. They host pop-up shops, cultural workshops, community gatherings and live performances in their versatile venue, tailored to ignite your creative potential. Kubo hosts a monthly family friendly, community focused market, Merkado, with various artisans and makers from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.

The east coast launch party is going to be at The Haunted Bookshop in Mobile, AL on publication day, Tuesday, June 30, and you can find more information on that party in my previous post. 

You can now pre-order Santiago and Great Bear, where all books are sold. If you would like to help support indie bookstores, order at Bookshop.org.
