Sidewalk Art Competition

Today was the first (ever in history) LODA Squares, Sidewalk Art Competition in Mobile, AL. It was hosted by the Mobile Arts Council (http://mobilearts.org) in conjunction with the SouthSounds music festival/art market and sponsored by several local businesses. I was sponsored by Folkers Windows (thank you!) The artists were asked to draw from 11:00 – 3:00 and the People’s Choice voting began at 3:00 pm.

I had a great time working along side 15 other artists at the Cathedral Square. We could not have asked for better weather with the high around 72 degrees and a nice breeze blowing through all day long.

Thank you to all who came out to support the arts (and me). It really meant a lot to see some familiar faces. 😉 I had so much fun and I won first place!
