mrs hancock, these look fantastic…i especially love the self portrait…what fantastic skills you’ve got….!
Yay! You found it! Thanks Darra. I think that you should do more of your erased drawings. I love those.
I love it all–especially the teacups, and wish I could be one of your students!!
Thanks Jeanne!
Hi, Prof. Hancock,
Love your drawings! Tonight I set up a still life of my own and worked on my gesture drawing. I like it!
April Painter
Very nice! I particularly enjoyed self portrait. teacups and the Georgia O’Keefe referenced one. All were fabulous. Your talent is unbelievable.
Angie M.
Thanks Angie!
Mrs. Hancock,
I absolutely love the pieces you’ve shown here! The figure study with the water-soluble crayons & multi-media alegorical piece are among my favorites, but they’re all amazing. I’m glad you posted this link to BB! It’s quite inspiring!

Thanks Whitney! I’m so glad that they gave you inspiration and I can’t wait to see what you do in your sketch journal!
Professor Hancock,
The pink poodles got me laughing—isn’t there a purple one somewhere in Carytown too? You’re right, poor dogs!
I enjoyed checking out this site—the pictures provided good examples of how I can incorporate ideas into my sketchbook…I really love your use of different textures and detail, especially in “Calm”, that is amazing! Byrd Park, The photographs from Pennsylvania—Magic Gardens I believe? I can’t imagine what cool stuff you have, or will do with that! Awesome stuff!!

Thanks Jordan! I think you are right. I have seen a purple one as well. It doesn’t harm the animals. I looked it up to make sure.
